Description:
The 8th edition of the Digital Health Malaysia (DHM) Conference (DHM 2025) reaffirms DHM’s continued commitment to advancing digital health in Malaysia since its inception in 2015. This year’s theme, “Towards a Common Insurance and Data Framework: Standards, Governance, and Interoperability,” marks a watershed moment for Digital Health in Malaysia. Besides highlighting the urgent need to align digital health efforts across stakeholders amid increasing complexity in Malaysia’s healthcare landscape, DHM 2025 hopes to initiate change and provide a vision going forward through multi-stakeholder collaborations.
Recognising the country’s unique dual-sector healthcare system and the accelerating pace of digital transformation, the conference will address the critical need for secure, responsible, and meaningful use of health data. The conference will discuss the importance of technological interoperability, standards, trust frameworks, and cross-sector collaboration to create a more resilient and inclusive healthcare ecosystem.
The three-day conference promises to serve as a platform for dialogue and action, bringing together policymakers, insurers, healthcare providers, tech innovators, and experts to explore emerging models, share case studies, and chart a practical path forward. A stakeholder consortium will be formed following the conference to work on an actionable financing and data framework for Malaysia. Attendees are encouraged to use this opportunity not only for knowledge exchange but to forge new partnerships and contribute to a patient-centric, data-driven health system in Malaysia and beyond.
