Ko Yamada, M.D., is an assistant clinical professor in the department of cardiology.  Dr. Yamada obtained his undergraduate degree from Princeton University.  He earned his medical doctorate from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and also completed research training as a Howard-Hughes Research Scholar at the National Institutes of Health.  Dr. Yamada completed internal medicine residency at Stanford University Hospitals and Clinics.  He subsequently completed cardiology fellowship training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Yamada is board certified in cardiovascular disease.  He has expertise in non-invasive cardiology and onco-cardiology and holds certifications in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, and vascular ultrasound.
