Dr. Lehman is a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine. His post-graduate training was obtained at Duke University and Indiana University. Dr. Lehman is a Professor of Medicine and Radiology and is in charge of Clinical Affairs for the Division of Gastroenterology/Hepatology at the Indiana University Medical Center. His research interests center on diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP, Sphincter of Oddi manometry, and gastroesophageal reflux. He is active in the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and is a past member of its governing board. Dr. Lehman served as the Associate Editor of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy from 1992-1997. He is an Associate Editor for the Journal Endoscopy. In addition, he is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Gastroenterology. He has numerous publications. Dr. Lehman is the 1996 recipient of the Rudolf Schindler Award presented by the ASGE.
