Ramush Bejiqi, MD, PhD, FACC, FESC is the President of Pediatric Association of Republic of Kosovo and also the Visiting Professor at Texas Health Science Centar, San Antonio, Texas, USA. He is currently working at Medical School, University of Gjakova, Gjakova, Republic of Kosovo and also as Head of department od Cardiology, Pediatric Clinic, University Clinical Center of Kosovo, Prishtina 10000, Republic of Kosovo. 

He has graduated in medicine 1981-1986 at the Medical Faculty in Nish, Serbia, where he completed Master of Sciences Imunology and Alergology (1986 – 1988).  He has also finished his pediatric specialisation (5 years) in Nish, Serbia (1991 – 1995), as well as subspecialization in cardiology (2 years) in Belgrade, Serbia (1995 – 1997).  He defended his PhD in the area of congenital heart disease  titled: “Congenital Heart Disease in Neonates with Central Cyanosis” in Tirana, Albania (2010).
